This video was created for the DECA Power Perks corporate challenge. It addresses negative stereotypes about the industry and aims to change the perspective of the energy industry by presenting it through trending, humorous, and Gen Z–native langauge. By following current platform trends, using relatable humor, and showcasing real opportunities, we position the industry as modern, relevant, and accessible rather than outdated or traditional. This approach helps Gen Z see energy careers as innovative, impactful, and aligned with their values.
